EichenKranz has weathered many changes over the past 100 years. The Singing Society has long since passed and ownership of the restaurant has changed numerous times. Over 10 years ago the current owners started on a mission to bring a once prestigious Baltimore landmark back to its former radiance. After a year of planning and hard work they realized this dream in a new completely remodeled restaurant. New electrical systems, equipment, heating and air conditioning, carpentry, floors, plumbing and fixtures were added. Building layout was altered to increase dining room size and an additional eating area was added near the bar to accommodate smokers. The upstairs catering hall was also totally overhauled. The doors of the Eichenkranz were once more opened on September 21, 1990

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eichenkranz provides a pleasant, elegant atmosphere with wonderful food for a remarkable value. We specialize in German cuisine, but offer a continental menu. Through good, warm, friendly service and a determination to provide a positive dining experience for its customers Eichenkranz is flourishing into yet another century. The owners well realize how important it is to keep the customers satisfied.
